Finally Home

We are finally home bak in Orange, California safe and sound. My thoughts on our two week road trip and what I've learned from it.

There is a lot to celebrate this July 4th weekend. Independence Day is an obvious reason, but I am celebrating a close friend's accomplishment. He is one of my groomsman and a talented creative. Yesterday, he left Converse and a world where he has seen incredible success.

Success Is Relative

I remember working at Nationwide and looking over the bridge that connected one department to the next. I looked over the bridge and thought about jumping off of it. Not to die, but to see how exactly I would land. I quit working there the next day.

Tradition

Father's Day was Sunday as well as the official start of Summer. It's a coincidence these two days occurred on the same date because of what I remember about every summer during my childhood.

Traveling Without Amirah

I can't remember the last time Chea and I did something without Amirah in the last four months. There was only reason I didn't want to move and that reason was my mother. However it's much more inexpensive to fly her to California every other month instead of all three of us flying back to Ohio.
